LOLA Make Up: New In Spring 2019

After I tried out some products from LOLA Make Up, I was kindly sent some of their new releases to put to the test, including a BB Cream, a Mascara and a Lip Liner, so I thought I would let you know how I got on.
The LOLA BB Cream (£14.95) does only come in one shade, however with BB Creams, it isn't like foundations where you have to have an exact match, as it is basically just evening out your skin, but this would definitely be suitable for a fair to medium skin tone. The LOLA BB Cream is suitable for all skin types, and contains ingredients such as hyaluronic acid to keep moisture locked into the skin. It is a lovely lightweight fluid which blends easily into the skin to give an almost-blurring effect, and I notice that my pores are not as noticeable when using this BB Cream. One of the main reasons I think this product is perfect for this time of year is that it has SPF 20, so it is protecting your skin from the harmful UV rays, as I think in this country it can be very easy to forget to apply sun lotion when you are out and about, so it is fab to have it already included in this BB Cream.
I was lucky enough to try out the LOLA Volume Mascara last time, and this time I received the LOLA Infinite Lashes Mascara (£11.99). This mascara coats every single lash - even the tiny ones on the outer and inner corners of the eye. I was definitely impressed. It has a flexible rubber applicator with lots of tiny little prongs which is why it is able to grab hold of each and every lash. I tried to do a couple of coats of the mascara to see if it was buildable, and it managed to lengthen my lashes without even a hint of clumpiness. The formula of the Infinite Mascara has been ophthalmologist tested and so it is suitable for people like me who wear contact lenses, there was no irritation, no smudging and it kept in place throughout the day. This mascara also contains Vitamin E and Olive Wax to condition the lashes rather than dry them out - gotta love a product that cares for your lashes as well as makes them look fabulous!
Finally, I tried out the LOLA Lip Pencil in the shade Nude Obsession (£7.95), which is the perfect your lips but better colour. It looks just like a regular lip liner, however on one end of the pencil there is a lip brush, which is genius, as I was told by Estee Lauder's head makeup artist that you will always get a better result by applying lipsticks with a lip brush. Way to go LOLA! The pencil itself is one that is to be sharpened rather than twisted up, but the formula is so soft and applies really easily onto the lips, rather than dragging across that delicate lip area - nobody wants wrinkles thank you please. Some lip liners I find don't give much colour without having to press hard or go over a couple of times, but I found this really pigmented and I had the correct shade and coverage in just one application.
