This week, over 25’s from GlamGeek’s trial team put Lola Makeup’s New Mega Volume Mascara and Automatic Eye Pencil to the test.
Automatic Eye Pencil
The Lola Makeup Automatic Eye Pencil (£8.95), jumped straight into our Top 10 Eyeliners and currently features in GlamGeek’s Rising Stars
Our Trial Teams verdict:
“This is the first liner I have tried that isn’t liquid, that actually lasts all day! The pigmentation is incredible”
“This liner stayed put all day for 13 hours! Still visible clear black line and no smudge it bleeding at all!!”
“This Lola eyeliner is fantastic! It’s incredibly soft so I can get a really smooth line without it bleeding or ‘catching’. Better still, it’s a beautifully intense black and remains so throughout the day.”
The team loved how amazingly pigmented this eyeliner is with its intense black pay off and how it doesn’t smudge, bleed or transfer throughout the day. Most said it stayed intact for 12+ hours without needing any touch ups but was still easy to blend on application to create a smokey look with its soft, creamy, smooth formula.
The more mature members of the trial team also praised the eyeliner due to it performing well on the lids without exaggerating wrinkles or dragging delicate skin. If you like your eyeliner to be razor sharp fear not – Lola have got it covered. The eyeliner also has a clever built in sharpener which went down a treat with the trial team!

Mega Volume Mascara

“It’s buildable to create more voluminous lashes and it doesn’t smudge or flake off. It’s now my go to mascara”

“This Mascara is really quite interesting – after I applied it, it looked like I had a pair of wispy eyelashes on – no mascara has ever done that before!”
Our trial team could not help but notice the sleek, high end feel to this mascara that has a very reasonable price tag. It seemed to tick all the boxes for our trial teams mascara must haves… it’s buildable, adds volume, non clumping, non smudging and separates each lash. One member also recommended it for those with sensitive eyes as it passed with flying colours.
There are many advantages with this mascara, it’s not just kind to animals it’s also kind to you, free of parabens and perfume with a formula to protect and moisturise your lashes.
