We want to celebrate the beautiful relationship between a mother and her daughter. And what better way to spend some time fun, quality time together then giving each other a makeover. We’ve created the perfect look for both Mother and Daughter using a gorgeous, natural palette of colours, so you can both look glamerous this Mother’s Day.
Make Up Look for your Mother
Perfect for women on any age, this look is based on nude and neutral tones that enhance your natural beauty. The soft colours compliment the complexion, whilst delicately emphasising the eyes and lips.
LOLA products required to create this look:
- With the help of an eyeshadow brush, apply the lighter shade of the Eyeshadow Quad 001 Natural across the upper eyelid.
- Then colour the entire eyelid with the darker shade of the Eyeshadow Quad 001, blending in with the previous shade. Also apply a light layer of the darker shade just below the lower lash line to create a smudged effect.
- Blend together the two complimentary tones of the Blusher Duo 002 Pink with a blush brush and apply a small quantity to the cheeks, to give a radiant and natural look.
- Apply the Intense Colour Lipstick 002 Dusty Pink directly to your lips or use a lip brush for an even better finish. The lipstick will provide a rich and full coverage whilst adding a delicate shade to the lips.
Make Up Look for your Daughter
We always look to our mothers for inspiration, so why not there makeup? This look adds modern metallic and shimmery tones, which are beautifully blended together, whilst using a similar neutral palette to the Mother’s Make Up Look.
LOLA products required to create this look:
- Eyeshadow 017 Gold
- Eyeshadow 018 Brown Hazel
- Long Lasting Intense Lip Gloss 011 Pale Pink
- Extra Slim Pen Eyeliner
- Shimmer Powder
Eyes
- Apply the Eyeshadow 017 Gold across the eye socket, using an eyeshadow brush and then on the upper lash line to get more depth.
- Apply the Eyeshadow 018 Brown Hazel with a clean brush along the lash line and the outer edges of the eye. Blend any harsh lines to create a smudged effect.
- To make it more dramatic, apply a line of the Extra Slim Pen Eyeliner along the upper lashes extending out to the edge of the eye.
Face
- Blend all the five tones of the Shimmer Powder with the aid of a brush and apply a light layer onto the cheeks.
- Then using a smaller brush, isolate the darker tones of the powder and apply a touch to the lower part of the cheekbone and hairline.
- Using a clean brush, isolate the lighter tones of the powder and apply a light layer to the upper part of the cheekbone, where the light naturally reflects.
Lips
- Apply the Long Lasting Intense Lip Gloss 011 Pale Pink to your lips, using the applicator all over or a lip brush for more precise results.The lip gloss adds the perfect amount of shimmer to the lips to accentuate the look.
